Every year we run a series of apprenticeship programs for small businesses and entrepreneurs.
The Lanzando program's focus is to provide education, training, and create economic networks and job opportunities in San José.
We have carried out this program since 2020 in conjunction with the Leavey School of Business of the University of Santa Clara, through its MOBI Institute and the Ignatian Center.
Latina Entrepreneur came to light after Yacanex noticed that she was hearing the same questions over and over again. As the son of a hard-working business owner, he knew how difficult it was for Latinas in our community to find the time and resources to open their own businesses, or know how to take their businesses to the next level. This is where Latina Entrepreneur was born.
The goal is, and always has been, to empower and motivate Latinas in our community. We do this by holding this event in Spanish, in 1 day, and completely free of charge.
Interview with Ale Arce in the program “Wake up the Bay Area”, on the Univision channel
It was very valuable to attend this event! Everything learned will help us continue to grow in our businesses. I congratulate you for this work you do to empower women in our Latino community!
